How the estimate works

Depth is converted from inches to feet. Length × width × depth gives cubic feet, which is divided by 27 to convert to cubic yards. Your selected overage is then added.

The default 10% allowance follows manufacturer guidance intended to reduce the risk of coming up short during a pour.
